Maple Forest Sky
Maple To Kuu is an old private house café that opened in February 2021, tucked away in the mountains of Kakegawa City.
Surrounded by nature, this place is a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The journey along the narrow mountain road is like an adventure to a secret place, and the special experience begins the moment you arrive.
Stepping into the restaurant, one is greeted by a spacious earthen floor, where the texture of an old private house is harmonized with modern comforts.
The seating area has a warmth reminiscent of a country home, and the terrace seats with their comfortable wooden warmth allow you to enjoy your meal in the midst of nature.
The space also serves as an atelier, where you can expect to encounter art.
Parking at the café is free, but space is limited, so advance planning is required.
The menu is diverse, and the "Okonomi-gozen" for 1,300 yen is especially recommended.
You can enjoy unique small dishes such as brown rice with black rice, miso soup made with homemade miso, and Thai curry.
For sweet tooths, we recommend the "3 kinds of sweet" for 800 yen, which includes homemade pudding and cakes of the day, all with a refined sweetness.
