According to owner Tetsuya Kato, the name means "outdoors," and the goal is for customers to enjoy delicious bread in a natural setting.
The store is designed in a mountain hut style, with a bright, easy-to-enter atmosphere with the warmth of wood.
In addition, the use of substandard produce helps reduce food loss.
Recommended products include vegetable bread made with locally grown salad spinach and fruit carrots, and "eel-imo bread" made with eels and sweet potatoes, a specialty of Hamamatsu City's Hamana Lake.
For store information, business hours are from 7:00 to 18:00 (close when sold out) and closed on Tuesdays.
