The place I used to visit when I was a child was Izu-Mitsu Sea Paradise in Numazu City.
This facility combines one of the largest aquariums in Shizuoka Prefecture and a theme park with attractions.

Theme Park "Beach Zone
My favorite part was the "beach zone" in the theme park.
Here, there is a pool with artificial waves in a spacious area that resembles a swimming beach.
The height and spacing of the waves had a variety of patterns, which I always enjoyed and never got tired of.
Even children who are not confident swimmers can enjoy just dipping into the pool and being tossed around by the waves.
The facility also had a large slide and a huge swimming pool, so I never got bored no matter how many times I went.
The aquarium also has a giant whale shark and adorable penguins on display for visitors to enjoy just looking around.
Mitsu Sea Paradise is located on the coast of Numazu City and is easily accessible, attracting many visitors from inside and outside of the prefecture.
I still go there with friends and family, too.
First, when visiting Mitsu Sea Paradise, you will need to bring swimsuits, towels, and beach sandals.
Also, early arrival is recommended, especially during the summer months, when the area is especially crowded.
The facility also has changing rooms and shower rooms for changing and showering.
Depending on the season, special events are also held.
For example, in summer, an event called "Night Pool" is held, allowing visitors to swim in the pool at night.
Also, in winter, Christmas lights are turned on, creating a romantic atmosphere.
For meals, there are restaurants and cafes in the facility.
A variety of seafood and other dishes are available on the menu, so you can enjoy your meal.
However, it is recommended that reservations be made in advance, as there may be a wait during busy times.
aquarium
I especially recall the beautiful coral reefs and the creatures I saw at the aquarium.
I was impressed by the beauty of the colorful corals and colorful tropical fish swimming in the tank.
Particularly memorable were a couple of friendly little clownfish.
I was captivated by their bright colors and lovely appearance.
And I was very surprised when I learned that it was the same species as the bearfish Nemo, which later appeared as one of the main characters in the movie "Finding Nemo.
In addition to the aquarium, Mitsu Sea Paradise has other attractions that include shows that recreate the oceans of the world.
I have seen it many times and am still impressed every time by its power and beauty.
When I was in elementary school, I once attended a summer festival held at Mitsu Sea Paradise.
At night, the attractions were lit up and food stalls were set up.
The fireworks display was especially impressive. I was moved with friends and family as we watched the fireworks shoot off from the beach.
Mitsu Sea Paradise also has a facility called the Whale Skeleton Specimen Exhibition Hall.
Here, an actual whale skeleton is on display, and I was amazed at its size.
It was also very interesting to learn about the structure and function of the skeleton.
The cute performances are very exciting! The seal show
One day, as we were touring the aquarium, suddenly an announcement was made inside the building.
The seal show will begin in 30 minutes from now." This was the content.
We had not known about the seal show until then, but we hurried to the show site.
When the show began, the charming seals performed with a ball.
The most exciting part of the show was the scene where the seals wave to the audience.
We were also very excited and waved back.
In the midst of all this, I waved my hand and one of the seals waved back in my direction.
I was very moved by this lovely gesture.
Since then, I have grown to love seals, and every time I go to the aquarium, I make sure to see the seal exhibit.
Do you have a mini experience to interact with dolphins? Dolphin Show
Another memory I have is watching the dolphin show in the aquarium.
Dynamic jumps and speedy swims in the water, and breathtaking performances with the trainer,
I couldn't take my eyes off the show for even a second.
There was also a mini-experience program in which we were able to communicate with the dolphins and swim with them.
It was a rare and very moving experience to be able to interact with dolphins.
(swimming) pool
I also went there with friends during the summer vacation when the pool was open.
One particularly memorable experience I will never forget was trying my hand at the pool, where you could jump in from a 10-meter-high diving board.
I was scared at first, but after practicing a few times, I felt a great sense of accomplishment when I was able to jump in with confidence.
My friends and I had a great time together.
I have many memories and Mitsu Sea Paradise is a special place for me.
I hope to go back next time with friends and family and make new memories.
