Nihondaira is a 307-meter-high mountain in Shizuoka Prefecture, located on the south side of Mt.
The Nihondaira Festival, held annually around the end of July, features a spectacular fireworks display against a jewel-studded nightscape.
The 12,000 rounds that are launched in an hour are sure to impress the audience with their realistic presentation.
Digital Starmine lights up the night sky
At the Nihondaira Festival fireworks display, computer-controlled digital starmine lights up the night sky.
This technology allows for more and more powerful fireworks to be launched to the excitement of the audience.
The short launch interval also provides an excellent sense of realism.
